By default, any content you type into the Text editor will align-left.You can change the text-alignment by selecting your text (you can use your mouse to highlight it or use a keyboard shortcut such as Cmd+A for Mac or Ctrl+A for Windows) and clicking any of the four alignment icons in the Body Text toolbar (Align-left, Align-center, Align-right and Justify).
